1. ACOUSTIC DRUMS and CYMBALS ( Wave files ) 

    The REAL THING with all the dynamics you want.

I record playing my acoustic Yamaha 9000 recording drumkit with full miking. 

That means close-up microphones on every drum, Hi-hat and ride cymbal, a stereo pair of overhead mics picking up the whole kit and some of the room, plus a dedicated room ambience microphone. Complete list of my gear below.

2. ELECTRONIC DRUMS ( MIDI files ) 

I record on my Roland V-Drums kit. You get my drumming in MIDI files sent to you and then pick your own choice of sampled drum sounds from your own library. So, my drumming - your sounds! I will also send you an Mp3 audio file for reference.

 ( Note: You can use acoustic drums (wave-files to trigger your sampled sounds too, or just add a touch of sampled sounds to be mixed with the original sounds ).

HERE´S HOW WE SET IT UP

You contact me via email, with a short description of your music project, leaving your telephone number in your email. I call you up and we discuss the details, what you are looking for style-wise. 

You then send me a bounced two-track Mp3 file so I can listen to your music and get a picture of what to do.  I write down what we have decided and send you an email to make it crystal clear on both sides. When we have come to a deal, you send me your project ( wave files ) one song at at a time with a recorded click track inside the project. All the music on your track(s) has been recorded with a click track, to make my job possible. I then record in my studio, the type of drumming you want on your track and send the recorded wave files ( or MIDI files ) back to you.
